    Correct Setup For VS 2017 For Xbox One S Dev Mode


    I'm trying to figure out how to setup visual studio install to use Xbox dev mode on a Xbox one s. I can't use Hyper v and need some guidance on this. Can you anyone help or at least get me pointed in right direction. I have vs 2017 pro.

    New Xbox one S

    Added MAC address to router. Cannot connect xbox one s to internet for initial setup. Xbox lists correct router, password is correct yet will not connect through wireless. Wired connection to router failed as well. Contacted ISP, suggests contacting Microsoft

    Problem setting Xbox One for Dev Mode

    I'm trying to setup an XB1 for dev mode. I installed the Dev Mode app on the XB1 and generate a activation code. But when I go to

    developer.microsoft.com/en-us/XboxDevi…     and click the Enter Activation Code button nothing happens.

    Which console are you trying to activate dev mode on? Are you using a console from Xbox One family or the Xbox Series X|S?

    If you're using an Xbox One, you have to perform this through the "Dev Mode Activation" app
    If you're using an Xbox Series X|S, you have to perform this through the "Xbox Dev Mode" app

    Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m trying to install an Xbox Live profile. For xbox 360. Gears. On series S. Reinstalling. I read to clear cache. Then sign in. I think retroarch is in the windows store. On dev mode. So, it’s safe? I won’t erase Dev Mode? Thanks again!
