    Copyright issues with halo


    Yo new to this forum and i have absolutely no idea where else to ask this type of question.(THIS IS NOT SELF PROMOTION, PLEASE READ THROUGH TO THE END)

    im a music producer from australia, and im releasing a drum and bass track through a music label.

    In this track ive used an audio sample from halo 4, which is the didacts speech upon his first interaction with the Chief.

    The track will be released for commercial use (i will be making profit from it) so obviously i need clearance/approval to use the audio from the original content creator (343i)

    So my question is does anyone know how i can get in contact with someone from 343i to shed some light on this, there is a link below to the track to hear the samples i have used.

    007 Legends was sadly removed to the store due to copyright issues with mgm and Euro.

    Wont let me put Epic on my film clip

    It probably had to do with copyright issues of Epic Games creators of the Gears of War series

    Are you saying companies shouldn't copyright the name of there product? So any tom *** and harry can come out with their own "Call of Duty" or "Battlefield" or "Halo"?

    It could be down to some copyright issue,the forerunners was a race of beings somewhere along the lines in the Halo series.

    Forerunners is the translated name for an ancient race of sentient beings which ceased to exist 100,000 years before the events of the Halo video game series began.

    lmao.....has the games european release been delayed due to a copyright issue...yes. Is it something the copyright lawyers of the publisher and MS could have forseen and prevented....yes. They failed, game is delayed and will be held up as long as the copyright
    issue is left unresolved. The fault isnt with the man in Portugal who owns the copyright in question....nope.

    You have to be careful of images that have copyrights to them. If you used an image from halo legends and did not get permission from the creators then this might have been the issue with it.
