Copying Xbox 360 Data

I found the directions on how to supposedly copy data from the Xbox 360 hard drive to a USB drive so I can copy it over to my over 360. However, whenever I try the Transfer, all I get is a move, not a copy which would mean I could move my information from
one Xbox to the other, but it would no longer be on the first one. That is not what I want. So, how can I copy all the information on the one xbox (profiles, game saves and the rest) to a USB drive rather than move it? BTW, I tried one at a time, but all that
happens is I cannot copy certain saved game folders because they contain saves from various profiles not to mention I would prefer transferring everything.

Unfortunately the xbox doesn't allow copying the original data onto a ms, I aready tried that one .

Some data cannot be copied, you may not be able to make copy if there is not enough room in the desired storage device. I'd there a train you cannot simply transfer instead?

Working off memory here,

I don't think Profile's can be copied, only moved.

I'm thinking this in a security measure, or a method to prevent a bug in the system.

Gamesaves, replays, themes and avatar items should copy without fail. It's 'Profile Only' (as it could be called) does not allow a copy.

I must ask though, won't the gamesaves be out of sync between the consoles? Or is that what you want to do hahaha

Additionally, purchased content from the marketplace will only function on a secondary console if your are currently signed into Live, this is determined by the console your content was first downloaded to. If you need to change the 'Primary' console for
your content, you will need to do a Licence Transfer

I really don't care if they become out out sync, I just don't want to be starting over again. So the long and short of it is I cannot copy.

Hi!

1. The Data Transfer Kit will transfer content from Original Xbox 360 to Original Xbox 360, or from Original Xbox 360 to Xbox 360 S.

2. The data is moved, not copied, so the content will not remain on the source drive.

3. All data will be transferred.

yeah, connect a usb external hdd and copy the data to that from the 360 then either run it from that on the 2nd 360 or then copy it to its internal hdd
