Cooling ac unit in my room

is it safe to hook up an air conditioning unit in the same room as my xbox one im afraid that it might taking too much power away

Need Help!

Yeah, my AC went out and my XBOX overheated after about an hour of play. Stopped doing that as soon as I got the AC unit fixed.

AHHH...Not Again!!!

Your cooling should be sufficient.

If it's hard drive failure the two primary reason are heat and power surges when it occurs so frequently. Is it plugged into a surge protector? Any energy hogs (frig, AC, washer/dryer, etc) plugged into the same circuit? (that may mean all the outlets on
an entire wall or room depending on how your place is wired)

Checking main fuses on that segment of power outlets - it might be good on one rooms wall outlets but not another depending what else is there.

Xbox hardly is the last straw that make fuse blow.

So depending of part of world you have about 115V or 230V power grid.

So if AC is 2kW it means that 2000/115=18A or 2000/230=9A. A=ampere.

So check if fuses are higher than this amperage and whatever else is on a fuse.

Check even cooffee makers, computers and TV's or monitors running on the same outlet. Usually a room has one fuse on a rooms wall outlets, or just one wall in that room.

There is a description of this at main central for fuses - which room each fuse is used for.

Its on my wall unit with a lot of room and for clean air as my wall unit is right by the entrance to my room which the door to the outside is right there and the cool air blows right in on to the wall unit by the Xbox.

At present I am in Qatar- Doha and it is very warm here too, my living room temp is at 25c, AC is set to 21C and I have a fan on the xbox360 to keep it cool. Over Heating can also weird issues, try to keep the xbox cool and see.

I have to get out and enjoy the outdoors at least a couple times a month. I do this since I do lock myself in an AC cooled room and play all day.
