Cooler making noise

My cooler from my xbox one is making a loud noise and i cant play cause it gets very hot and it turns off automatically, what should i do?

Some games seem to do this it is usually either from the disk spinning faster or the fans trying to cool it down. If it's the disk spinning making the noise not much you can do since it is just reading the disk. If the fans are making the noise it is probably
trying to cool itself down. Make sure you have the xbox in a well ventilated area so it can cool easier.

Cooling fan alternative

I'm sure that most of you are annoyed by the cooling fan, especially because of the noise it makes. Have you ever thought of or found an alternative to this cooler? Something noiseless, which can keep the console cool.

Overheating is usually due to the console being placed somewhere with not enough ventilation around it. It needs space to "breathe".

If it still overheats when it is properly ventilated, check the ventilation holes for dust. That can obstruct airflow. I recommend using compressed air (same can used for cleaning dust out of PCs).

If it still overheats when it is properly ventilated and cleaned of dust, you may need to
send your console in for repair.

Is it a buzzing sound? Because I have the same problem on my Xbox One S.

Well, some fans make different noises than others, if your Xbox is working fine, then there's no reason to worry about that.

I used that before, I didn't like it. It's not that it was bad or it didn't damage my console, it's just that the biggest downside, to me at least, was the excessive noise. It's a given that these coolers will make some noise, but with the Nyko, it had gotten
so bad that I just returned it. I recommend not using any of these coolers, they just make things worse. The biggest cause of overheating is mainly because of dust in the console. Just buy a can of compressed air (average price is usually $5) and spray inside
where the air is blown out. Hope it all works out!

One way to try and minimize the noise is to make sure that your Xbox is in a well ventilated area, free of clutter (i.e.e things on top, underneath or next to your Xbox). The better the ventilation, the cooler your Xbox will run at.

Thanks for coming to the forums. This is not normal, also when you moved to your room and put on side, it could be on the side where the fans are. We recommend to return it and swap it at the store you got it from.
