Microsoft is hiring "Repuation Management" personnel.

Used games existed in the form of garage sales. There was no GameStop when I was playing Atari 2600. I also couldn't go online & download Pitfall for free. I won't try to convince anyone to buy or not buy Xbox One. Your money, your life. I'm getting it day

If you CAN afford it buy it. Listening to these guys is fatiguing. If u can't afford then go for the games u like then pull the trigger....BTW, the negative comments here are from peeps that don't have an X1...

 

If you cant answer that question yourself go and buy a snes.

No. After all, why should I? You didn't even ask nicely (in fact, you outright demanded it) and as far as I know, there's nothing in it for me.

^This! I hate these kind of threads. Someone can't decide for themselves, so they have to have people bombard them with enough reasons to make them feel justified in taking the
plunge. Sure makes it easy to point the finger at others if you pull the trigger and aren't happy afterward though... doesn't it?

Yes in the end the final choice is your own, but it's never a bad idea to ask other people for an opinion.

You cannot get 100$ toward a one for any 360 model.

It has to be a 250gb model. Rofl nice misinformation though.

 

Also it is in fact a terrible idea to ask people youdont know on the internet to make financial decisions for ones self.

it's better to ask for facts and experiences from others than advice. Facts are clear and concise and are the best factors in helping me make a decision that will be best... and work best... for me. I do my best to make up my mind based on facts and input
from other peoples' experience... not their advice, unless they're a known 'expert'.

thread title sets the tone and when I see "Convince me" I picture someone sitting, with a smug look, arms crossed, waiting for someone else to 'break down their defenses' and come up with the magic sales pitch that will finally push them into doing something.
Had OP chosen a less 'stand off-ish' way to 'ask for advice' I likely would have reacted much, much differently.

 

Sure the OP could have phrased the question better but he has come to the official forum for the Xbox brand to ask for advice, or experiences if you wish, from people who already own a Xbox One.

Instead he gets jumped on by people telling him to make up his own mind.

This community can be quite hostile at times.
