Convince me on why I should buy this game.

i'm not going to tell you why you should buy this game, but I know why I am.....Halo brought me into multiplayer gaming. I am 44 years old and carrying the original xbox along with halo and a 26" CRT tv to friends houses for 16 player lan parties brings
back fond memories. In my opinion and I will state that again...In my opinion, HALO shaped multiplayer gaming across all platforms...yes, even for sony.

Just on the simple fact that Halo 2 will be playable over Xbox Live again was enough for me to pre-order. The other 3 games are just a bonus to me, in my opinion. Halo 2 PC is fun, but there aren't many people on it.

I'm wondering why anyone that likes shooters needs to be convinced to by this. Halo 2 was the most fun I ever had playing video games.

i'm 42 myself. I used to go over to my friends' friends houses to put together a lan party to play halo. fun times. loved playing halo 2 online until they killed the servers for it. i'm now thinking that this halo 2 anniversary was already in the planning
stages at that time since halo anniversary had already been given the green light.

If you enjoyed Halo 2 there is a very good reson to buy the collection, Halo 2 is currently offline to my knowledge and never coming back so this is the only way to relive that. Theres also the 60 frames thing. Also brand new competition in the form of possible
first time XBOX owners and stuff. Could be a completely different experience to what you had before on the multiplayer side of things, there isn't much to expect from campaign though.

Convince me on why I should buy this game.
