Converting XLG to GPU after already buying $1 trial

I currently have GPU, but it will expire soon. When it fully expires, and I have no active subscription, would I be able to buy 36 months of Xbox Live Gold, then buy the 1 month, $15 option for GPU, to convert all the months of XLG to GPU at a 1:1 ratio? Or do I have to use the $1 trial option to take advantage of that conversion rate?

Yes. The upgrade is not tied to a promotion. Anytime you have regular Gold/Game Pass and buy Ultimate, it will convert at a ratio of 1:1 for up to 36 months.

You are trying to use an offer you have already used. The advert is default for anyone not on GPU but when you click on it your Gamertag is checked and gives you the best price as of now.

When you originally trialled GPU did you convert any remaining XBL Gold to GPU as I'd be interested to see what happens to your Gold should up upgrade again. (Originally the deal converted Gold at a 1:1 basis but I suspect it would do it at a 3:2 basis
now you've already used the trial.)

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. What you already have left of Gold, when converting to GPU will be converted 1:1.

The conversation rate is lower though, i you have GPU and then add Gold codes.

Only those who have never had Gamepass or Gamepass Ultimate previously are eligible to do so.

What you do is pay the $1 promotional subscription charge to join Gamepass Ultimate (regular price starts automatically after the promotional period ends) You simply switch to GPU because it includes XLG, and Microsoft should immediately terminate your XLG membership.
