    Hi,

    I have a physical copy of the Gears of War 4 game. Is there any chance/way I can convert it to a digital copy? If not is the a way I can get a discount at the game purchase, as long as I have the disk?

    I agree the digital downloads should be cheaper. It seems as though the opposite is taking place. All of the discounts seem to be on the physical disks. I have wondered if there have been sales problems with physical disks as more of us opt for the convenience of digital downloads. Why not offer discounts on the digital downloads to encourage people to give up on the disks and we can move away from disks completely? If it was $10-$15 cheaper for the downloads no one would care if you could resell the disk or not?

    The only way to convert it would be to purchase the game digitally. There is no discount for owning the disc

    The question should be why not?

    Microsoft need to implement a convert physical license to digital one.

    Should be an option, when you go to buy or gift a game it should have convert to digital option. Instead of a purchase code you put in your physical license key once converted it disables the physical key.

    I'm sure they could work it out!

    At one point I, too, decided to go full digital. As Smwutches said, there is no way to "convert" a disk copy to a digital license, but you could possibly sell your physical copies and use those funds to re-purchase digital copies.
