Controlling Xbox One Volume Coming through Phono

I use a pair of bluetooth headphones. The transmitter of these is connected to the phono (red and white) output on my TV. My problem is as follows - the audio from my Xbox one is far too loud and distorted and if I turn it down on my headphones it
    remains distorted, just quieter.

This problem is easily solved on some games where one can lower the volume in the options menu and the distortion dissipates. However, in the Master Chief Collection, this is not possible and so I need a way of lowering the volume of the xbox one that
is not the volume of the speakers on my TV, but the phono audio output.

Is there any way to do this?

    :)

I'm sure the format is supported and it's not working because you're not following recommended settings.

Try the Support Forums or try Support themselves. There's a tab at the top of the Forums.

Line out from your TV will be set at full volume.

    1. see if there is a setting in your TVs menus to make it follow the TV volume (unlikley)

    2. Use the TV's headphone jack (you will probably need to unplug to use the TV speakers)

    3. Use one of these between the TV and the headphone sender

If you need Red and White phono connections, then you will also need 2 adapters for that like this (sorry I can't find an in line volume with phono plugs)

    Stereo Headsets

Yes they are, as the USB cable powers the in-line amplifier for the volume control (and bass boost control if applicable) and the green phono is the in game sound. The connection to the controller is for game chat only.

And as they are PC compatible, the pink phono is for the microphone when connected to a PC.

    Volume control - help please!

    Hey GrayDrop634995!

Apologies for the delayed response! If you are wishing to send volume control signals to your Xbox One console, it will need to be via Kinect 2.0 or an IR blaster. There isn't a way to control volume through USB.

Here is more information on what you will need to
control volume through the Xbox One console
    .

Hope that clears up any questions you have! :)

    Hello Irmeson,

When you are on the console and go to system, (push Xbox button on the controller on screen pops up on left go to the far left icon at top to system) When there do you see a audio option, the top one is for headset volume you can control how loud it is
coming in. Also there is another mic monitoring that the ones that coming through loud would need to adjust so don't come through so loud.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Brad
