    Controllers wont work on startup - XBOX One - HELP


    Brand New Xbox One. Controllers are connected as the light is solid on the controller. They simply wont work. The only way to make them work is by unplugging the console for a few mins and starting it again. This solution allows the controllers to work correctly.
    It's just a cumbersome process every time we want to play.

    I have updated the console.

    I have updated both controllers.

    The batteries are charged.

    Any ideas?

    Mine does this as well. Every couple of days controller will simply not work. Only solution is to unplug console and reset. This is getting old.
