Controllers not connecting

The last preview update caused my wireless controllers to stop connecting to the console.

How do I have this issue fixed?

Hello!

Probably you already done this, but have you synced them with the sync button properly? Have you updated all your controllers? Have you assigned any of the controllers to your profile? Is your Xbox up to date?

Controllers not connecting

My controllers are having problems connecting to my xbox one. they wont connect even plugged in with usb. A hard reset is the only way to get the controller to connect to the xbox. This only last while the controller stays on. I have to hard reset everytime
if i want to use my controller, it is hassel and consumes a lot of time when i just want to relax and play some games. I have two controllers both having the issue. I have new batterries and a charged battery pack in the controllers

If you have signed up for the Preview Program, you should have access to a private sub-forum designed for users of Preview firmware. I would suggest you take your problem over there.

They might have possible solutions that lie outside of the scope that these regular support forums are able to provide, as this sounds like an unusual problem very likely caused by the latest preview update.

So recently my Xbox wasn’t connecting to the internet at all. The servers weren’t shut down, the Xbox would just not connect to the wifi. The Xbox gave me a notification that it had to do with a problem with the connection of the controller. The
controller would have to be restarted and connect to the wifi. It restarted the controller but it wouldn’t connect to the Xbox. I tried syncing the controller like when I first got it, I tried other controllers, and I even tried using a cable to connect the
controller to the Xbox, yet it still won’t connect.

Other controllers works?

All controller don't connect/work? Or only one? (maybe your preferred controller)

Updates:

Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.

If you cannot connect controllers, use several different cords to connect the controller to the Xbox, make sure there is a usb type connector at the bed of the cord that is connected to the controller, and then go to settIngs and then accessories, click
on the controller, and then see if it needs any updates or connect it to your account
