controllers for people with only one hand or has some fingers missing

My dad is due to be loosing on of his fingers which is going to make it hard for him to play both of his Xbox's. I started to wonder, was it possible to create a controller for people with missing fingers or only one hand so they can play the Xbox as well.

The best controller you ever used?

I like the SNES controller and the S model 360 controllers, the best. The SNES one fit when I was younger and the 360 controller fits my hands now, I can't see how people play with Ps3 controllers on a daily basis, they are so small I literally have to lock
my fingers behind the controller for any kind of comfort at all.

I agree that you would benefit from a modified controller. There are plenty of vendors on the net that would help with this. It might be a little more pricy then a standard controller due to the extra work but for the sake of playing as comfortably as possible,
it may be worth the price.

As mentioned above there are companies that customise controllers for disabilities. Some on a case by case basis where they work together with the individual and tailor make it just for them. I read an article in GameInformer but as I am not disabled I didnt
pay attention to the name of the company. You might be able to find more info if you go to GI's website and search their archives. Pretty sure it was within the last two years.

I have severe arthritic issue and have trouble moving fingers most of the time. I tried is extension and it helped a great deal.

I remember getting some extension clips things for my PS triggers a few years ago, they came free in a magazine. Maybe there's something out there along those lines to help. Gutted to hear about your fingers dude.
