Controllers continually lossing synch after recent update

Does the controller still disconnect if it is plugged in using a USB cable? You can also read through our troubleshooting guide for

wireless controllers disconnecting. Work through all the steps provided there.

Boot the console up with your controller while pressing and holding the synch button on the face. Once you reach the dashboard release the synch button and it should pop up a required update. Choose yes and update the console. This should clear up any issue
with incomplete or corrupt updates. Try this, let us know how it goes.

As previously stated I would suggest trying a firmware upgrade first I recently had to do that with my controller and after the update it worked pretty well if it continues then it's more than likely a mechanical issue and replacement is the better option

Did you update the controller after the most recent system update??

Hi Carbon! Have you made sure that the controller has been updated? Aside from regular monthly console updates, there have been three or four controller firmware updates released since the console launched. I ask because, I also had this synching issue a
while back (and many people did) but one of the updates did fix the issue.

You would find this by first connecting the headset adaptor (IF you have one, but if not, you should still update the controller) and then connecting the USB cable. Then press Menu -> Settings -> Devices & Accessories, then select your controller, and select
"Update."

You may need to do this more than once, to make sure the controller has the most recent update. Let me know!
