I am on OS version "6.2.11788.0 (xb_rel_1411.141111-2206) fre" with my latest update 11/13/14.

The new controller is firmware 1.1.2228.0 and I have the plug and play battery pack and have tried fresh aa standard batteries and extended rechargeable batteries (envelops).

My problem is like what a lot of others are having. My controllers (a day one version and another I just bought to make sure it wasn't the just the day one controller) randomly disconnect while being used. It will "reconnect" within a couple of seconds,
but it is limited or it connects to some other non existent xbox. Sometimes it will reconnect where I can still use the controller, but it loses the chat functionality and I can no longer hear people talking either in game or in a party. Other times it will
try to reconnect for 10-15 seconds, then it finds some xbox to connect to but it doesn't do anything at all for my xbox.

For either outcome, if I try to turn the controller off, it will not reconnect when I turn it back on in any of the three ways you can connect a controller ( via Kinect, via usb, via controller sync button on the console). It does the same if I take out
the battery. The problem remains if I do a soft power cycle on the xbox.

The only way I can get it to work again to 100% is by doing a hard power cycle (holding the power button on console for several seconds or unplugging the xbox).

As with everyone else, this is very frustrating. It seems like it happens to me at least once every hour that I am playing some game (bf4, titanfall, cod:aw)

    :)

    XBox One controller disconnect

My controller shuts off all the time and you can't reconnect. Bought a new controller same thing. Only way to reconnect is unplug the piece of ***. I unplug my xbone at least once a day for either headphone new or controller won't connect. Biggest piece
of garbage on the planet. Oh and he audio with x41 turtle beaches a joke. They we phenomenal with my 360.

Xbox One 1TB Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle Problems

is anyone having issues where the controllers are constantly disconnecting from the xbox one and then won't reconnect? We got this same console and the controllers disconnect every few days and to get them to reconnect we have to unplug the xbox for 20
seconds then reconnect it. using the connect buttons on the controller/console does nothing for some reason (no issues like this on the regular xbox one we have). very disappointing.

In order for the USB cable to work, you must remove the batteries and keep them out. If not, then your controller will continue to try and connect wireless.

If the USB cable is not working, try a different cable as there are no know issues with controllers not working with a usb 3.0 cable

I'm using the xbox play and charge kit cable.

  9. Still for me the only way to get my controller to work is the hard reset. The usb cable method doesn't do anything

Are Microsoft going to fix this issue? I'm sick of doing hard resets all the time. I have tried everything when this occurs, same as above the cable doesn't work. It's like the Xbox controller connects to an invisible console. Hard reset is the only way.

  11. No clue. I just sent the system back. It's just silly and if the replacement has the same issue I will try and push this up the ladder.
