Controller's battery doesn't charge anymore

Hello,

Since 2 weeks, my controller's battery is unable to charge. I have the play and charge kit, and I never had any problem before. It happened suddenly. I tried the following solutions :

- Change the USB cable

- Change USB port on the console

- Change the battery (same problem)

- Change the controller.... same problem

When my controller is plugged in, the orange indicator from the USB cable stays for only few seconds and then, the white one comes in. It considers that my controller's battery is full, but it's not. Moreover, when my controller is powered on, I get a little crackling noise.
I don't know if it's normal or not.

Bumper just randomly stopped working on day one controller

My son tossed my day one controller works fine cept won't charge the rechargeable batteries anymore...new controller soon to use this will be a spare lol.

Xbox One - check controller charge?

I have an Xbox One with the Microsoft Play & Charge kit. How do you check to see the remaining battery power? On the Xbox 360 pressing the Guide button would show you the controller's battery level. I haven't been able to find it on the Xbox One.

With usage the charge and play kit loses it's charge so if you have been using the kit for a while maybe its time for a new one.

Well the fact is that I only used it twice (bought it last November). But you probably right, I think for some reason it has lost it's charge. I tried a different kit from another brand as an alternative solution, and the result is worse, the light indicator
on the cable doesn't appear at all. I hope it hasn't short-circuited my controller. (it only happen with the unofficial one, the original play and kit charge recognize my controller but cannot charge it) Do you think it's possible ?

I suggest you to not use recharges of other brands for they may damage the inner circuit of the controller. At this point try to use the controller with AA batteries or directly with usb to verify its function.

I decided to use AA reusables batteries, it works.

In that case the controller is fine. Only the charge and play kit needs replacing (I suggest you to use only MS accessories)
