Controllers are not syncing

I just got a new 1 TB X box One yesterday that I ordered from Amazon. I set it up today, and at the setup part where it tells you to connect the controller, I tried doing it, and it won't work. All the controller does is blink and not connect. I've tried
for 3 hours. I've changed batteries and removed wireless things from the area, but nothing has happened. I'm really frustrated it should work. I don't want to have to get another console or controller. How to i fix this and what might be causing it?

Problem with my xbox NEED HELP ASAP

You could try re-syncing the controller. My son's started always turning him to the left, re-syncing fixed it.

Be sure that you are pressing the sync button on the console and controller at the same time in order to sync your controller. A hard reset and then performing that usually fixes my syncing issues.

As His Pet Leaf suggested, you might need to sync the controller to the console.

this happen to me as well it wont Connect / Sync / Pair Xbox One controller to Xbox One console or windows 10 i did all the guide's and this is my 10th controller im sick of buying new controller's im about to sell all this &%#@ and move to PS4, stop being
lazy and fix your dam controller

Sync the Controller:
To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.

You have to sync your second controller, via the Xbox One's sync button on the left, and the controller's sync button on the top.

Try re-syncing the controller to see if that helps.

Press the sync button on the front of the controller and the sync button on the console to see if it will reconnect.

Have you tried syncing the controller to the console? Hold the sync button on the front of the controller and the sync button on the console (on the left side just before the usb) until the light on the controller syncs.

If that doesn't work then try heading over to Settings>System and update the controller to see if that helps.
