Controllers are losing connection while gaming and on the home dashbord

Today i got my xbox one back from the repaircenter with a note that they couldn't find any issues.

I reconnected my xbox and installed a game to test my xbox and still the controllers are getting stuck and then losses connection.

This happens wireless and also with the original micro usb cable.

I have a small video of the issue where you can see my car spinning and then crashes to a wall and continues to drive against the wall while my controller laying on my desk and i'm not touching it at all. Then i plugged the cable out of my controller and
then the light on the controller starts to blink and losses connection to the xbox. Not just one controller but two controllers are showing the same issue.

I have no idea what i should do next, i don't want to send my xbox back to the repaircenter again and when i get it back again with the same note that they couldn't find any issues.

Can someone please help me? gaming isn't fun anymore :'(

Xbox one controller connectivity

I turn on my xbox one with cortana. But when i get to the home screen and attempt to power on the controller, the light on the controller flashes for a while, not connecting. it eventually connects but takes a while. the batteries are still good. please advise

Continuously Signed out of Xbox Live

A couple of questions:

1. Wired or Wireless connection?

2. Do you have other devices on the home network? If you do, monitor them and see if they are losing connection as well.

Others and myself have been having the same issue. From what I've experienced, there is nothing that we can actually do to help. I believe it's a software issue, and Microsoft need to send out an update to patch the bug. But are they doing that? I don't
know.

It sounds like a driver issue when i read your message.

I have had this once when i was a intern at a IT-Department of a school where students with Atheros wifi network cards couldn't connect to the school wifi network. No one knew why, untill i and some other interns went looking for driver updates and installed
a older driver update untill Atheros came with a newer version.

Don't ask me how, but this fixed the problem and this sounds a bit the same as the issue with our controllers losing connection with the xbox one.

I have bought a third party controller that only can be played with a wire and i hope that this is a temporary fix until we get a fix for our issue. I will get the controller later this day. (dutch timezone) i can post the results i you like.

If you look around you can here for example:-

You can see it is possible to bridge or pass through the Ubee EVW3200 modem and once that is done in theory you should be able to connect up an Xbox live Compatible router

support.xbox.com/.../network-hardware-compatible-xbox-live that will support multiple Xboxes properly

However... unless you know someone that already has a compatible router that you can borrow and test it - it means you'll have to take a gamble on whether it will work or not, it certainly should do but you won't know until you try it and pay for a new router

Thanks for the update,DummyArbiter. I'd be interested to know if the problem persists when using a public DNS:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

2. Select Network Settings.

3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

4. Select Configure Network.

5. On the Basic Settings tab, select DNS Settings.

6. Select Manual.

7. Select Primary DNS Server.

8. Enter 4.2.2.1, then select Done.

9. Select Secondary DNS Server.

10. Enter 4.2.2.2, then select Done.

11. Select Done again.

12. Press the B button on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

*Make sure you disable Port Forwarding and leave UPnP enabled.

Give it a shot and let me know if you notice a difference. Standing by.
