    Hi there, I have a rather strange problem that involves my controllers and hard drive, whenever I plug in my drive my controllers completely disconnect and my Xbox receives no inputs at all the only way I can navigate the Xbox is with my keyboard that's always plugged in. I already checked Xbox support but the "solutions" provided didn't apply to me as I guess this is a very unique issue and a form of advice is appreciated. I did also try formatting the drive and that wouldn't work, it gave me error 0x8000000a and none of the games can be opened either error 0x8027025a says the console.

    Hi, Josef yes it is an external hard drive, it's a Seagate 4Tb Xbox hard drive, and sadly after doing as you suggested nothing changed. I completely disconnected both my keyboard and mouse, and everything else aside from the drive, and nothing, same as before it reads inputs for a second or two then inputs have heavy lag then the controller disconnects from the console, and in case you say yes I have tried plugging the controller in directly while I did this as well and still no results. Do you think there is anything else I can do?

    May I know if you already try connecting your drive but with the keyboard disconnected?
