Controllers always "forget" the console - XBox One

Just curious if I'm the ONLY having this issue. Every once and a while my Controller will forget what Console they are sync'd to. I've made sure the Controllers are all up to date with firmware and have tried it with the controllers linked to my account
(one me who uses the console). No matter what I do I find eventually I press the XBOX button on the controller (both - 1, after market original Controller and a Day One controller which came with the console) and the light simply blinks, the console doesn't
    turn on.

I have my suspicions tho - I use rechargeable batteries (AA) and it might start to happen when the batters get low.

Been doing it for months now. Absolutely no other issues once the Controller is Sync'd to the console although it sometimes takes

several tries to get the 2 sync'd - again not sure why.

Just wondering if it is a "It's only YOU" type thing.

    :)

  2. One XBOX 360 Controller won't sync

Since the controller was synced in another console you should sync it back at your console. Don't forget to push the connect button on the controller :

My brand new Xbox one controllers won't connect to my xbox one at all, USB cord and all! HELP!

    Hey Georgia -

Do you have any friends nearby that own an Xbox One console that would let you try your controllers out on? And if they have working controllers, can you try syncing them to your console? What exactly happens if you plug the controllers into your console
    via USB?

Don't forget to take a look at the >>controller troubleshooting guide<< and following all the steps provided
there. Additionally, you could try exchanging the controllers to see if that helps as well.

Keep us posted. Controllers always "forget" the console - XBox One :)

Controllers always "forget" the console - XBox One

I would first try ti REMOVE PROFILE / ACCOUNT from Xbox, then UNPLUG POWER to CONSOLE and wait 1 min, now plug power back in , turn on and now DOWNLOAD ACCOUNT, after that SYNC and ASIGN the CONTROLLEER you want , or try to sync controllers with a micro
USB cable and let them sync

How to un-assign / disconnect Steelseries 9x Headset from my Xbox Series X

Because the Xbox isn't the one pairing your headset to the console. This works exactly the same way as a controller, where the controller is the one that "remembers" your console, and not the other way around. What has to "forget" the console is the controller, or in your case, the headset.

    Playing a Campaign/Story Mode

Always. Everytime I try to break away from a game, I forget all about the controls/story. So now I'm always sticking with one game until it's completed.
