Controller/Xbox, MAJOR ISSUE

Ok so I have just recently started having a really big issue with my controller and Xbox, and I have no clue what to do. So first I will attempt to explain this problem.

Scenario: I go to eat dinner, leaving the xbox on as I will be back soon.

I come back the controller is off (inactivity) I turn on the controller. But for some reason as I am trying to talk to my friends they don't hear me. I then attempt to go send a message, but here is the weird thing, my controller is on, it is synced to the
xbox, but it won't control anything! I powered off the xbox and got back on the controller still wouldn't do anything although it was on. I reset the xbox (held power for 10 seconds) and got back on it worked. I figured it was maybe a minor bug. Then I joined
a party, after talking and paying for a while, my battery died, I plugged in the charger. After the controller powered on, same thing!!! It couldn't do anything! So i reset the xbox same as before and get back on, I was playing and talking and then my wire
moved and apparently disconnected the controller, turn it back on, NOTHING!! So this time i decided, to try something. I turn on my iPod and go to the smartglass app, it for some reason could not control anything either. So this is where I am stumped, is this
an issue with the xbox or the controller? Is this fixable? Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

Things I have tried

-Power off and on Xbox (Didn't solve anything)

-Reset Xbox, controller worked until it would disconnect, issue would continue.

-Unplugged everything for my Xbox, the controller, took out the battery, etc.. Issue still happens

MAJOR controller issue

There is a major issue with the xbox one controller. When I plug in my microphone to talk to friends it causes an unbearable lag in every game. The joystick movement is not responding correctly to the game, especially when there is aim assist involved. This
issue will make you miss every bullet as it does for me.

I must clarify, I am the only person that I have ever come across that suffers from this issue. I don't know why and I don't know how but there must be a solution to this. I've tried everything under the sun to fix this. I've spent so much money on new controllers
new mic. I am deparate to find at least what is causing this problem.

Hey there vNeMesiis EU.

To check, have you tried using a different headset with your controller to see if the issue is with that? Also, can you share what type of headset you're using and if you're using an official Xbox controller?

 

I am having the same issue and its getting very very very annoying now!! I have a second controller and it does the same with that one so it must be the xbox. I have also just tried the smartglass because you mentioned it and only a few of the commands work
on that. We must have a bad update because nobody else i know is having this problem.

 

Well it's good to know i'm not the only one experiencing this. After last night the problem hasn't occurred again, but still it leaves me questioning, hopefully we get a good answer soon!
