    Controller: X button permanently false firing.


    Hey.

    So in the middle of a Diablo session, my X button stopped working, only to return with a vengeance, now telling that it is permanently pressed whenever that controller is on. Like it is stuck without being physically stuck.

    From what I can read, I should RMA it, but if anyone has a way to get it working properly again without the whole mailing thing, I'd be glad.

    I've tested with my other controller, which doesn't do it.

    I've tried restarting the console, the controller and taking the charge pack out and back in. I've also tried connecting the malfunctioning controller with the USB cable. The error persists.

    Hey there Controller: X button permanently false firing. :)

    this is not possible to do permanently!

    But you can use the X button to hide them...

    2nd controller will not sync

    2nd controller will not sync. Clicked on X button and help small black button for 20 sec and the X button just keeps flashing.

    So you^ve tried to update Controller and maked shure that there are good batteries in it?

    If yes and it still persists,

    I would request a Repair.. for that Register your Console on xbox.com...

    Just gave the update a try - no luck. Thank you for the suggestion though. I'll see to that it gets sent to repair.
