Controller won't work!!!

    Controller won't work!!!


    my controllor won't do anything I've tried nex batteries and tried the USB cable but even the light won't come on

    Controller won't work after update.

    other half usually uses wired controller with a headset plugged in and then a wireless controller to play. Thought I would be nice today and update his wireless so he can use the audio adapter and not need the wired controller. Plugged it all in and the
    update failed. It said to remove the battery and try again. Did this and now the controller won't switch on. Have tried doing a hard reset of the Xbox, unplugged everything. Tried speaking with chat support, no help and gave up after half hour a sat all we
    had accomplished was that we had 2 controllers. Ambassadors said to plug it into a pc but we don't have a working one. I'm now getting shouted at as his controllers not working, xbox support twitter page say to see if it's under warranty but other half doesn't
    think it is and I cant register is as I won't recognise my phone number so can't check anyways. Anyone got any idea how to fix this short of having to buy a new controller?

    After updating controller it won't work

    So my headset broke a week ago and I got a new one (wired). Since there was a new one I plugged it into my controller and tried to update it but got confused. I read a bit and got my other controller out because all of the sudden the one I tried originally
    wasn't working. (It seem liked it was trying to turn on but wouldn't.) So I plugged the usb into my xbox and the other side into my 2nd controller and updated it. I have been using it since that the other one crapped out. The 2nd one died and I have rechargeable
    batteries but I wanted to play now so I put the head set in and the usb to the Xbox and tried to update the update said it was successful but then once I had unplugged it, it would no longer turn on like before it tried but couldnt and it only works plugged
    in now any thoughts/solutions?

    Hey Pheeble -

    That's not a good sign. If your controller is currently non-responsive to new batteries and a USB cable as well, it sounds like it might be dead. I'd consider purchasing a new controller at this point.

    Yes, my controller is on warranty. Then I go to contact us page. Then I talk to bot. And then when I wrote about my problem i get here - https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/controllers/wireless-controller-solution

    And story begin. When I get here https://support.microsoft.com/pl-pl/devices i can't register my controller. I chose xbox one, then sending device to service, then service online in choose category i mark accesorries, then normal controller, i write my addres,
    and in step 2 i get this information: don't find any records. accessory or device isn't available.
