    Controller won't turn on my Xbox one


    If I leave my console off for 6 hours or so...My controller fails to turn the console on and I have to do it from the console itself! And when it's on it gives me the Xbox intro!! While I have the machine set to instant on power mode..what gives?

    My Xbox controller won't turn on

    HI,

    I recently got to myself an Xbox headset and a headset adapter for a regular Xbox One controller.

    The moment I plugged the adapter in with the headset, I noticed that the sound of the headset (only when plugged into the adapter)

    was extermely distorted, and somewhat painful to hear.

    I tried to figure out what caused the problem , and I found out that it may have been caused by the outdated controller firmware version I have on my controllers. So I followed the instructions on the Microsoft website and tried to updated the lateest firmware
    version.

    And guess what- the installlation of the update did not work, and now I am left with a completely dead, non functioning controller.

    I would be very glad if smeone would answer.

    How do I get my series x console to control TV?

    I have tried turning everything off and disconnected everything, turned on the tv and connected the xbox to the amp and connected the amp to the tv making sure I plugged in to a arc input and turned that on I made sure the hdmi control on my amp was turned on my xbox will turn my amp on but my amp won't control my tv my old one s console had option to separately control both tv and amp but my series x console only has one option for cec control

    Xbox Controller Sync & Powering off from after pressing sync button five times....

    My sync button turns off my Xbox one X and won't connect any controllers.

    When controllers do connect they disconnect and flash.

    Had this problem since beginning of February.

    I was playing Minecraft with my friends and I was charging my Xbox one controller and I accidentally pulled the lead out of my Xbox controller where it charges and disconnected me from the Xbox so I turned of my Xbox and turn it back on so then my controller
    would connect and my keypad to sing in to my account won't appear up what shall I do

    Hey FinestOsprey84! It sounds like you've tried most of the steps available but just in case check out the info

    here     and see if there is anything new. If you're still having issues after that, I would suggest returning to the retailer you purchased the console from. Either way, please let me know how it goes!

    Xbox One Controller won't turn on

    Hello Meister Mike,

    That could be a possibility however, I have never had a controller that was only used for pc. In my experience, the controller should at least flash white how you explained.

    One way you may be able to test this is by taking the controller to a GameStop or local game store. They should help you test it out on one of their consoles.
