controller won't turn on, just vibrates

    controller won't turn on, just vibrates


    Out of the blue, when i try and turn on my xbox one covert forces special edition wireless controller, all it does is vibrate twice.



    I've changed the batteries -- both AA and recharable, but it's still not turning on.



    Any ideas?

    Controller dies when screen shakes?

    Update: Turns out vibration is turned ON for my system, but the controllers don't vibrate.

    So I guess the issue is really that when any controller is connected to my system, when it's supposed to vibrate, it turns off.

    Controller Suddenly Stopped Vibrating

    I was playing Forza Horizon 2. I paused the game, came back to my controller and it no longer vibrated. The settings are set to vibrate in Forza, but it's still not working. The controller still does the little split second vibrate while holding down the
    xbox button, acting as if I'm going to turn off the console or the controller, so I know the vibrate function works, atleast faintly.

    yes, vibration is turned on. the whole controller vibrates, just not the trigger.

    You can't turn off controller vibration but there are no vibrations.....

    Hi oTe 3P1C N1NJ4,

    Thank you for contact the forums. Did you turn off vibration on the controller entirely or just for the Avengers beta? If you did turn off vibration in the game, you can usually find it in the game's settings. If you have completely turned off vibration
    for the entire controller you find it in
    Settings>Ease of Access > Controller > Vibration settings    . Please let us know if your still having issues.
