    Controller won't turn back on


    hi I was playing a game today until my controller went off because it needed batteries, however I had a rechargeable batteries pack I plugged the battery in and my controller wouldn't come back on. I tried batteries and it still didn't come back on. Please
    can any of you guys help?

    Controller won't turn on

    my Xbox one controller will not turn on. I logged on and my Xbox said that the controller needed an update, so I plugged it into the USB on the Xbox and now it won't turn on. This is now the second time this has happened to me. Help please

    Have you tried to use a USB cable directly to the console? Sometimes this works.

    Do you charge your batteries while they are in the controller, if so and the batteries went into a overcharge condition it could have damaged the controller.

    Since it is a new controller and won't turn on take it back for an exchange.

    Well, found this too: If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it
    won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and
    the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just
    might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI.
