    Hi,

    Just today, I turn on my XBox One and BOTH of my controllers won't scroll down. They just seem to scroll left and right very quickly. I saw posts on how to turn off "fast scrolling" which was to hold the right bumper and press one of the "face buttons" (I'm
    not a big gamer, just got this, and I have no idea what the heck a "face button" is). I tried holding down RB and I pressed each button on the entire controller and checked after each one to see if it was resolved but it was not.

    Any ideas? Strange... both controllers? It seems like a system-wide setting then? I also turned off console, unplugged for 10 min, turned back on, and same thing. It didn't resolve it. We only purchased this like 3 weeks ago. Everything has been fine
    for at least 2 weeks of playing.

    Ha, I was definitely weighing that.... wrap the entire thing up after resetting it and bring it back only to re-set everything back up or just get a new one.

    Wife made that decision! It went back. I would have purchased a new one. Her argument for the value of money won over my argument of value of time.

    You can also call the Xbox team they are pretty nice and you maybe be able to send out your remote for repair. The downside would be that you would be without a remote for a bit. I had a similar issue with the joystick and my resolve was to go and purchase
    a new remote... best of luck my man!

    If updating the controller doesn't work, try disconnecting your controllers from the xbox then reconnecting it back up.

    Just closing on this.

    Went to update the controller and that went fine. Then used that tool in test mode and see that the A button didn't work anymore, and the left joystick was stuck in the up position.

    So, returning. Unfortunately, since this was a bundle, I was told I have to exchange the entire system as a whole. Ugh. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.
