    Controller Wont Hold Charge


    I got a Controller and a Plug and Play kit with my Xbox One but when I try to charge the battery in the controller it wont charge. I took the Plug and Play kit back and got a replacement, however the new battery still doesn't charge.

    The controller works fine if I connect it with the USB lead so the lead works fine. I have done the update on the controller as well, so I really don't know what else I can do.

    Does anyone have any idea, because I don't believe it is the Usb lead, Controller or the Usb port.

    Hi, thanks for the reply yes I have tried the guides and not helped. It has been about a month since it happened and I have done nothing different to change anything. Its like the battery is broke but can't get to it without taking the controller apart. I use the battery port in the case or the wire plugged into the controller.

    Hello, batteries cannot be charged through an xbox controller whether they are rechargeable or not, sorry.
