controller wont connect whatsoever

Hi, i am in need of urgent help. my Xbox one controller does not connect to my console no matter what i try. you name it, I've tried it. USB cables don't work and the wireless connect button doesn't work either. resetting the console and trying again didn't
work. all the basic things did not work at all. if there are any suggestions, i would love to hear them.

Xbox wont connect to tv

Xbox wont connect to TV at all, i know its not the tv as the xbox is making a slight buzzing noise and also controllers wont connect, ive tried everything unplugging resetting the lot, no fix whatsoever at the moment plz help xo

plug and play not working properly

controller disconnected out of the blue,update controller,plug and play wont work + it wont connect to console.plug controller into pc and wait for rumble to stop......lo and behold,plug and play will work and controller will connect to console.WTF is up
with that???????

Do you have access to another controller that you could test with to help determine if it is a controller issue or a console issue? That would help to isolate the problem and know what direction to go. However, in the interim perform a hard reset on your
console EXACTLY like this and see if it will help to rectify the problem.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results.

just got the same problem but with the original controller, but the difference is that mine turned off as soon as I hit update and now wont power on whatsoever. So I guess I'm screwed.

When you say your controller wont connect do you mean the controller wont turn on or do you mean the controller does turn on but it is just not connected

For me it isn't about kinect adding to the price tag or that its constantly watching you, I don't care about either of those.

I just have no interest whatsoever in motion sensors or voice controls and I wont be forced to use them, they are gimmicks that are there to impress children.

Yes, I have tried these things numerous times. It's frustrating because I can still hear the internals firing up and I can connect controllers but no signal whatsoever.
