    Controller wont charge or connect when wired


    Herro so for the longest time ever i used my play and charge kit to play while wired and wirelessly then one day my cable stopped charging and I started using my samsung charger it was working for a while then one day the battery stopped charging so i played
    wired for some time and now my xbox controller in general just wont connect to anything i use to keep it wired and its been stopping me from playing Destiny ;-; any help would be greatly appreciated

    Xbox Elite - Turning it Off

    If you have the controller attached via a wire, then pull the wire out, and press and hold the Xbox button until the light turns off. That will turn off your controller. It will always charge when the wire is connected.

    Will Microsoft ever release drivers for Xbone controller on PC?

    It charges and turns the controller into a wired connection when plugged in. The only thing PC users need is the driver from Microsoft.

    Have you tried using a charge cable to connect your controller? If it doesn't sync when wired, then there is a big underlying problem.
