xbox controller home button issue wont resolve

let me add that the controller will turn the xbox on via the home button..... which makes me think theres a software issue and that a new controller wont change anything...

All Xbox one problems here

Had the same issue. Make your Echostar controller is set to IR for infrared and not RF. RF wont allow xbox change channels

Sorry to hear about the controller troubles. Have you by chance been able to test a different USB cable to see if there's any change? I understand that your cable may be working on other controllers, but it's still worth trying a different USB cable to fully
rule that out. Also, do you have a different rechargeable battery you can test in this controller? Let us know how it goes

You can easily put a parental control that can prevent you from getting messages from other players and you wont need to change your gamertag.

Why can't you insert your controller's serial number? You can easily find it in the battery slot, if you have issues change the browser you are using
