Controller with new Xbox Series X has sticky buttons

1. Yes, Xbox one controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X/S consoles

(But as your controller is within warranty the best option is start a replacement order)

3. You can start a replacement order, for this you can do it using the devices page and start the replacement order

1. Yes the Xbox One controller will work fine on the Series X console.

3. If you purchased the console from your local retailer, then you will need to take all of it back for an exchange, or you could send the controller back to Microsoft for repair.

If it's only been a week, you should be able to return everything for an immediate exchange.

drift is the only issue I've ever had, and it's very upsetting. Dead zone fixed the issue on my older xbox one controller but my new series x controller only lasted about 9 months and even I baby these things. They don't make them like they used to. I wish all I had was sticky buttons.

The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.
