    Hey there!

    I have the Xbox One controller, and I use it with my Windows games.

    I want to use it on wireless mode and I saw that there is a wireless adapter that I can buy, but I live in Israel, and I have been told that there might be a frequencies difference.

    So can I use it?

    Because Xbox controllers use a proprietary wireless technology known as Xbox Wireless. As such you can't use any adapter to connect the controller, it has to be the Xbox Wireless adapter specifically.

    Please check these steps below.

    What you are seeing with the LEDs is an indication that the Xbox 360 Explorer controller is entering pairing mode, not working mode. In order for the controller to function on your PC, you must first pair it with the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter.

    Steps to pair the controller with the wireless adapter:

    Connect the wireless adapter: Connect the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter to a USB port on your PC.

    Press the pairing button on the adapter: On the wireless adapter, there is a small button (usually near the USB port). Press and hold this button for a few seconds. The LED on the adapter should start blinking.

    Turn on the controller: Press the Xbox button in the center of the controller to turn it on.

    I tried with a USB to microUSB cable and it did not connect by this way, but the wireless adapter did not lights up, so i can not connect the controller neither by cable, nor by the wireless adapter.



    I will buy another wireless adapter if I can not connect the controller by cable because i realized that the adapter is broken.
