Controller will not synch

I am having issues with both of my controllers. Neither of them will synch. I have tried multiple ways to get them to try including replacing batteries, watching different tutorials on youtube for example and looking at answers on here but still I cannot
get my console to respond to either controller. Can anyone please help???

Lights on 360 Wireless Controller keep flashing

If possible, also try to synch the controller to a different 360 console, to see if it willl work. If it works try and synch it again to your console

 

Controller synched to wireless adapter nothing works

Hook up adapter white light blinks and I synch my controller to it both lights solid but on my Xbox home screen I cant click on to anything controller buttons or anything on it not working I had it working before but have just been using headphones and synch
to xbox cannot figure whats wrong and why I have no function on controller any info appreciated

 

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.

2.Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Then try and see if the controller will sync after these steps let us know if that works.
