    Controller Warranty


    So I recently had a problem with my controller's stick drift. I tried to fix it by taking apart the controller which required me to rip off the serial number of the controller to unscrew. I've lost the serial number but my Xbox still has a warranty so does that mean that my controller has the same warranty? (I bought them both together) And if so how would I insure a claim for my controller without the serial number?

    Standard warranty for Xbox accessories is 90 days, or 3 months. Unfortunately, it seems like you are outside of warranty. you can however, check your controllers serial number here : Controller
    Warranty

    If you are out of warranty, we can only recommend replacing the controller.
