    My controller drifts forward and I was planning on sending it in but someone on reddit pointed out to me that my controller was out of warranty. I bought my Xbox One in January. Is it out of warranty?

    try updating your controller go to : settings/accessories/controller(make sure you have your controller connected to your xbox)/update controller

    Controller Warranty?

    It depends on where you're from.If you live in the US,the warranty on accessories is only 3 months.You'll have to find out what the warranty is where you're from.It's different in every country.For example,in Australia the warranty
    is one year.

    I checked your profile to try and determine your location by the way.Just a heads up,you should change your bio before someone reports it,you can get banned for what's in it even though you censored it yourself.

    The length of warranty depends on your location/country

    Standard warranty for Xbox accessories is 90 days, or 3 months. Unfortunately, it seems like you are outside of warranty. you can however, check your controllers serial number here : Controller
    Warranty

    If you are out of warranty, we can only recommend replacing the controller.
