    Controller warning


    The other day I took my niece out to pick up a controller she liked. It's her controller for when I watch her and buy minecraft next week. She picked out a Spectra illuminated one it was $50. When she opened it no chat adapter at all. I wanted to alert
    fellow gamers not to purchase it as a main controller. If I wrote this and its confusing, im sorry my full dose of lithium is not in and on ly takin 2400 not 9000 a day. Thanks

    Controller battery notification!!

    This is a definite must have, I feel your pain, doing a race on Forza, last lap, 2 turns to go, in the lead! Controller dies with no warning.......they need a warning as well as a battery level! Flashing light on the controller or a little pop up notification,
    something that gets our attention!

    You can simply press and hold the XBox icon button in the middle of the controller and it will give you three options: Turn Off Console, Turn Off Controller or Cancel. When you select Turn Off Controller, you may still get the 'Reconnect Controller' warning.

    This is why I never buy third-party controllers. Something always goes wrong or is not compatible with something.

    I'm with RC on this - don't buy 3rd party controllers. Controller warning ;)

    3rd party controllers can often be many times better than 1st party.

    A good example of this is the Logitech wireless controllers 4 the original xbox. Which then led into the wireless 1st party controller now used on the xbox 360. Controller warning :)

    I just ordered one of the Spectra controllers to race with on the recommendation of a friend. I guess the trigger sensitivity is much better than the stock controller and you get pretty lights. Does not work on the PC though.

    And as Electro said, sometimes the third party guys do it better ( actually most of the time ). If Logitech hadn't given me another option for the PS3 controller I'd have gone nuts with the stock controller apparently designed for tiny hands.
