controller usb

ok so i have a wired x-box control which i use on pc. and so naturally it has a usb plug. however there's also one of these circle ends. however the thing that translates the circle thing to the usb is missing. what is that called so i can search it online
and get a replacement?

Q's about Xbox controller / batteries and recharging

If we place other brand AA rechargeable batteries (NiMh) in the xbox one controller (regular or elite) and if we connect the USB cable to the controller Will it recharge the batteries?

If there is no batteries in the controller and you connect controllers/usb cable to the Xbox or any other power source will the controller work as if it's a wired controller?

 

What do you want in the next console?

I still say we need USB 3 ports for controllers.If you don't know,the 360 uses USB 2 ports,USB 3 ports are backward compatible,to where you can use a USB 3 controller,or a USB 2 controller.So if you have an arcade fight controller that has a USB 2 plug,
you could use that controller on the 720 if it had USB 3 ports.
