CONTROLLER update not necessary IMO.

First off the controller is way to sensitive to begin with but MS thinks the opposite.The sensitivity has been raised on the controllers and has me once again adjusting to cod ghost. I notice that I felt as if I was back on roller skates last night with
every weapon and also noticed it was occurring on both my controllers as I I switch the charge cable between them. Ok Microsoft thanks for the update but sometimes certain things are not necessary. I had to lower my sensitivity from 8 down to 5 to adjust.
Now I gotta work myself back up to 8 and higher. Anyone else notice the affect the update has on the controller? A bit annoying and not needed IMO.

I'm against having a speaker in the controller because it adds weight and will likely be cheap in terms of quality, but still make the controller itself more expensive. IMO, it's not really necessary...

 

I'm going to get a Xbox 360 this Christmas and wondering what to get.

A gold membership is always nice (not necessary). Games depends on your style. If you got a Xbox bundle you will get a wireless controller, headset (or should). Overall, just enjoy it, you cant go wrong with Xbox...IMO.

I have but have adjusted to it and doing just fine. Why does it seem to me that we all went back in time as far as technology is concerned when we went from the 360 to the one? The games aren't even 1080p. Ghosts runs on 720p and the new titanfall will
only run at 900 or so.

 

Personally I have not updated my controller. However it is needed if you have or plan to use the headset adapter. The update is required for it to function properly.

 

Why do you need to have your sensitivity on 8 or higher?

 

Faster response times hooshenry. I play fast and like to have more agility and quicker turn radius.

 

Its give and take. Quicker turns means less accuracy down range, plus the update was for the adapter only and nothing to do with sensitivity?

 

I was actually hoping that the implementation of a "controller update" would be used to verify MS licensed products (controllers) and somehow disable the modded controllers. I always thought that would be a good idea for the "next gen" consoles (controller
verification)
