I dont have another controller and the serial no. is unreadable since it got erased by now, A similar case happened to someone as mentioned on this thread-

As you mentioned, yes I think my controller warranty has expired since its 5-6 years old,

How do I start the update with another controller, since the controller thats not working is not connecting and not showing up in accesories

What I have done, is to plug the second controller get to the update part while plug by USB, then switch to the second one and start the update, that has to be fast
