Controller Update BUG

Hi, after upgrading my controller (settings, update controller). Now every time I create a group chat I hear from the kinect. I tried to restart the console and reset the cache. Some times it works, but after a while the problem returns, I checked the settings
of the kinect and I also tried to restart it but i didn't work. I hear the group chat from the kinect, this after upgrading the controller. you also have this problem?

Controller/Headset unresponsive after plugging/unplugging charger

None of the past controller updates address this issue. I'm sure a new controller update that specifically addresses this bug would be the answer.

Second what Chips said about installing off-network. As to the controller, have you made sure to go into Settings and update your controller? There is a firmware update which fixes several little bugs and quirks with the controller, which happened back before
they started releasing controller updates.

 

The recent controller update has been known to contain bugs. Xbox is aware of this issue and a new update is in the works. Please just be patient for the time being.

 

Try going to your Gamertag selection at the top left of the Home screen, highlight your Gamertag and select Choose This Person.

This should assign the controller and let you use your headset again.
