Controller update bricked my controller

Updated my console and 2 out of 3 of my controllers last night. The third one started to update but when I put it down. The update stopped and now the controller doesnt turn on at all. How can I save this controller ? Is there a way to reset the controller
or buttons to hold down to reset it ?

Xbox One Controller bricked after failed driver update

I was using the Xbox Accessories app from my computer to update my controller, but not even half into the update it failed and bricked my controller, now it won't turn on either by USB or wireless.

I have tried these methods:

1) Uninstalled and reinstalled the bricked controller on my PC (which is now read as a USB not recognized, error 43)

2) Troubleshooted hardware and devices

3) Hard reset the console with the controller plugged in

Any ideas?

The controller update bricked my controller.

Im in the preview and today console update is working for bricked controller!!!!!

I'm also part of the Preview program and that is where I got the updates from.

I do feel for you mate... That sucks.

I always wait to hear from support before doing anything, as frustrating as that can be sometimes.

Here is what worked for me. Power on the console. Take out the batteries of the controller and plug it in via the side usb. Then wait a couple of minutes. It should eventually start working.

My [Mod Removed] is still bricked.... I was told I would get an email in a week... it's getting there. Still no fix though??? Thanks Microsoft.

Stop asking for our version info, you know [Mod Removed] well they're up to date AND that you bricked us...

The advisor I spoke to told me I had 1 year warranty for my controller that I bought in september. That is strange since you guys are all saying you have 3 months. Not complaining though!...
