    Controller unsync on xbox series X


    Hi.

    I am having an issue with my xbox series X that when I disconnect my wireless headset it will desync all of my controllers and headset. I have tried resyncing after this happens but that didn't work. I have tried plugging them directly into the xbox but didn't work. I have tried turning off the controllers before turning off my headset and then turning my controllersback on. This does work sometimes, maybe once every 3 tries. The controllers all just flash the sync light until I turn them off or they turn themselves off. The only way I have been able to fix this issue is to do a hard reboot of the xbox series x. If I dont use my headset I dont have any issues. Does anyone have any ideas? Or does anyone know if there is a fixing coming for this. Highly annoying if your headset dies in the middle of a game.

    Hey there TG SilentStorm.

    You shouldn't need to unsync the controllers. Once you sync them with another device they should automatically unsync from a previous device. Have you possibly tested one of these controllers with an Xbox 360 to see if they're able to connect there?

    okay so I borrowed a friends controller and it works! So my two controllers just aren't unsyncing from the previous wireless receiver and computer I used them on, does anyone know how I can unsync them?
