    Controller Typing Lag

So I am experiencing a problem with my controller when I use it to send a text message or anytime I am typing, such as Internet Explore, searching on Youtube, Netflix, ect.. I'll try to enplane my problem and everything I've tried so far to fix said problem.

First off, I had no problems originally. I used my controller to send texts and to search apps with absolutely no problems in the past. Then one day, I noticed a major lag while typing. It's like I am typing too fast suddenly, when start to type I'll get spots
of lag, example, "HelloJ im, howa rey oud oingt oday?" that should read, "Hello Jim, how are you doing today?". This started happening back when the first controller update came out, so after asking around at that time, I was told to try to update it, which
I did and it cleared the problem right up.

I had no problems once again with my controller, everything worked fine, up until about a week ago. My typing lag has returned and it almost seems worse now. I still get the same lag as before, but sometimes it seems I will click space, or the LB to go back
a space and it'll just sit there and not do the command until I press another button on my controller. It's gotten to the point where it almost takes me twice as long as it should to send out a simple, "Want to play a game?" message.

I have tried everything I could think of or suggestions online I could find. So far, I have tried turning off every background app running, my controller is up-to-date (Just tried last night), my battery supply is fine (tried both a battery pack and new
batteries I had around the house), I have unhooked my Xbox One from the power supply and waited until the light glowed orange, then plugged it all in. I even had a friend bring his controller over, which he has no problems with on his Xbox One, yet the second
we sync it onto my system, it gets the same lag as mine gets.

I am now at a loss as to what to do. The lag seems to only effect typing as well, no problems while playing a game, or at least, nothing that is noticeable. I am open to suggestions though! Thanks for the help in advance!

    :)

Don't forget to update your smart glass app.

Typing messages on SG in so much better than on the console via the controller

    YouTube is finally here!!!!

Yes it does. It sucks enough typing with a controller on a qwerty keyboard.

    Controller Typing Lag

    Fixed in another forum!

I was told to both Hard Reboot (Holding the Xbox power down for 5 seconds) then unplugging until the power supply cycled to a Orange light. This cleared it right up, which is odd, because I tried unplugging it and it didn't work and I tried a Hard Reboot,
but that didn't help, though doing both did... just odd.
