Controller Trouble

My xbox controller seems to be having a unique problem (I say that because I've searched for hours and nobody has had my issue). I'm using a standard xbox controller that
came with the console. When I try to turn it on, the light blinks like normal and shows the one light on the top left corner. But after a second, the lights start spinning
as if the batteries are dead. After around 4 seconds, it goes back to normal. Then, after another second, it starts spinning again and then shuts off. I just put in fresh batteries.
Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to spend another 50 bucks on a new controller.

After spending hours reading as many forums as possible, I figure out that none has my problem. With my controller, no problem, tried it on another device and it works. But, troubles are with my xbox. When I push the sync button, nothing seems happening
(no flash lights).

Please, help me !!!

p.s.: It occurs with all controllers I got.

 

Trouble Controlling The Car

Maybe you guys are right and I just need to play the game some more until I get a better feel for it. Samsim, no I haven't been using the handbrake. Should I be favoring it over the regular brake?

 

I've experienced this several times in the past. It could be minor interference from any number of things (remember there's remote controls and wireless functions all over the place).

I still have the same controller that is about 10 years old still doing that. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

 

How did you resolve it? I can't play at all with the controller. It does that every time I try to turn it on, and I've been trying for 4 days now. I made sure nothing metal was in between the controller and console, I've made sure my TV remote had no batteries
in it so it wasn't sending off a signal that could interrupt the xbox controller's, and I've tried re-syncing the controller. None have worked.

 

Also, I took a look in the controller itself. There is no corrosion, no dirty contact points, nothing like that. I did the same for the battery pack. I'm planning to go get a controller in around 2 hours, but if you reply with a fix before that, I will be
extremely grateful.

 

I'm sorry, do you mean that you took the controller apart?

 

No, I just looked at the little bit of the mother board that you can see behind where you put the battery pack, and it was fine, no signs of leaking.
