Controller triggers... vibrates?

Just got my Xbox One finally... no major gripes other than the hard drive having only being 500gb and games can be anywhere from 20-40gb which means you'll only be able to have maybe 12 games on there? I've already reached 40% of my memory and all I have
is AC: Unity, GTA V, Killer Instinct and Shadow of Morder.

But I can get extra hard drives or TB memory sticks. What I don't know is if I can turn off the trigger vibration without turning off all vibration. Buttons shouldn't have their own vibrating feature... it just feels wrong and annoying. It does it every time
I pull the trigger in certain games.

Did anyone at Microsoft actually test the controller with human subjects?

He's referring to the outside edges of the controller that surround the triggers, not the triggers themselves.

 

Impulse triggers rumble not working.

Is there a way to get impulse triggers working with rumble?

My controller rumbles but not my triggers.

 

I really like this feature and don't find it implemented enough in game's.

To answer your question though, I don't believe you can tbh..... I could be wrong but I can't remember seeing the option.

 

No you cant unless the game allows you to disable the function. Apart from that then Goat is correct. Personally I like it as well. Its great in Forza.

 

as for the HDD it states 500G but after the OS, we only get 362G... Not all games are the sizes of the games you have.

I have like 20+ games and most of the main streaming apps and I sit at 92%.. out of those 20 something games, maybe 3 I will never touch again so if I delete them, Im back down to 80%. If I ever wanted to play them again, I will just re-install or re-download
them (ReDL as I went all digital). So what I am saying is the 500G HDD is not as bad as it seems. Not too many people play 20 something games, at the same time, continuously. If they do, they really need to go outside and find something else to do.

 

The vibration of the controller is awesome.

You have way more control over your gameplay.

 

I love the rumble triggers. Especially for Forza and shooting games. There should be an option to turn it off for people that don't like it. Maybe in a future update.

 

I hate vibration. I ended up opening up the controller my girlfriend bought for me and snipping the wires to the motors.

For me it is just too much if a distraction, as the rumble of the controller bares little to no relation to what is actually happening on the screen.

 

The trigger vibration is great with some games. It's adds a real nice touch on Forza 5

 

The way the controller vibrates is Sick. It feels like a magnitude 100 earthquake, it vibrates so strongly, you can even hear it from 2 or 3 meters away. One of my friends said he was going to throw the controller out the window and not touch it again. I
think it would give you a shock too if you're under 10 and a girl. And the vibration is strong enough to make an under 5 year old cry if they held it. "This controller is bazerk". I like it sometimes, other times I throw it on the floor (it survives, of course),
and go play Kinect Sports Rivals, at least the Kinect doesn't vibrate at me. If it did, it would probably fall of the HDTV Kinect mount on top of my HDTV.

 

It's awesome for racing games, gives a nice amount of feedback for shooters too

 

Maybe for Forza it's good but on GTA V it vibrates for every little thing you do. Driving, gassing, breaking, shooting and pulling up the menu. Plus it tickles and makes my finger twitch....

 

^ I had GTA on the 360, wasn't gunna pay full price again for it on xbox one haha

 

I bought it again, brilliant game. Can't remember the Triggers vibrating to much though.
