    Controller thumbsticks jostling

I've had this issue with my controller since day one, but it's more pronounced now in destiny since I have to very slightly push the control stick down to control recoil. So here's he issue: The xbox control sticks are really two potentiometers with a
stick coming out the middle, and the thumbsticks are pushed onto them as a separate piece. The problem is that my control sticks are jiggling around the dead zone, and the dead zone itself is off a bit...or the thumbsticks are. They feel like they're popping
out of place whenever the sticks move past the centre zone. My 360 and PS3 controllers feel perfect in this regard, like the sticks are welded onto the potentiometer. It's very hard for me to control recoil since the thumbsticks move with small movements,
but they're not actually moving the stick they're on, they're moving around it. I swapped controller a few weeks ago and this new one still has the same issue: the thumbsticks aren't anchored properly. Is this an ongoing issue? Is there a way to fix this?
Or should I just try swapping again? I'm in Canada by the way. Thanks!

    :)

  2. Modification of controller

Some folks like to use the ps3 convex controller thumbsticks on their 360 controller. Just dremel off a little bit of the skirt under the thumbstick and you are good to go. Just another alternative to the concave controller thumbsticks currently available
    for most 360 controllers.

It probally the way the controller was made. It does feel a little flimsy though. You can try swapping it out again or sending it in for a repair. You could also open the controller and fix it yourself but I don't recommend doing that because it voids the
warranty if you ever need to send it in for a repair.

I think I know what the problem is. I think the controllers are junk. I have two that have broken in exactly the same spot in the same way. microsoft customer service has assurd me that there are no defects with the controllers. Many people who made the
mistake of buying an xbone would disagree.

On the bright side microsoft will let you send it in at your expense and from what I have heard from other peoples experience you will get a new controller a month or two later. Oh and the exact same thing will happen again probably.

My controller has turned into a vibrator

No liquids. It might have been jostled a bit in my backpack but that's all
