    Controller Sync (to console) Lost After Switching Back from PC Streaming


    Every time I switch from PC streaming back to console play, I have to re-link (sync) my controller to the console by either using the console and controller sync buttons or plugging in a wired controller (to the console). Now, I understand this may be the
    normal condition but has anyone found a way around this situation (besides buying a second controller)?

    Anyone Else Have Random Controller Sync Issues?

    NOT DISCONNECTS. It's fine when it's connected, I mean literally staying synced after the console is powered off. In instant on mode the controller wouldn't turn it back on after it being turned off, so I switch to energy save and that worked for a day or two then again controller won't turn on the console after its off. It syncs fine once I manually power on the console from the front button.

    Is it related to plugging it into a surge protector? When I unplug it or reset the surge protector it works again with the controller power on method.

    X and controller sync

    When connected to the other PCs it is using USB so I just unplug it, I don't know other way to desync it from PCs. I did a quick test just now, go to a PC, plug the USB to a controller and then stream and play Witcher 3, then stop streaming transmission, go in front of the X and boom, controller doesn't sync at all, not even removing the batteries for few seconds, I need to reboot the console and click on the X button while the console is starting up to get it synced again. And it happens with all the three controllers I have.

    i use the xbox stream app as a way to sync my hue lights to whatever is on the TV. I need that one guide to stream to the PC to control the lights when i use my Switch, DVD player, or watching youtube or other video. gimme back my streaming access!!!

    Im sorry to hear about that! Could you try to power down the console, then unplug it from power and remove batteries from any controllers synced with the console, after that plug the console back in and try to sync your new controller with the console! Steps

    You need to sync the controller to the device you want to use.

    It's the same for the PC,you just press the little button on the dongle rather than the console.

    When you switch your controller on it will automaticly sync to the last device it was used on.
