    Controller Stops Working After Switching Batteries


    If I swap batteries in my controller while using my Xbox One, I have to do a hard reboot of the whole system in order for the controller to function again. It does not matter whether I swap to the rechargeable charge and play battery or whether I use rechargeable
    AA batteries. The light remains lit on the controller but it is non-responsive. I just noticed that it does this after I got a Turtle Beach headset with the adapter. The firmware is updated to the latest on the controller.

    Does anyone else experience this? Is there a fix?

    Im having issues as well i have xo seven and ever since i plugged in that adapter my controller either freezes or stops working completely after switching from being plugged in to being wireless.

    Headset not working after switching batteries

    I have 0 clue what is going on but every time I switch batteries my headset does not work. It can't not be found. It only works again when I hard reset and even then that does not even work. Also when I try to assign it to my profile that does not work can
    we please get this bug fixed I got turtle beaches. I've seen other people have this problem and have posted it on other websites please fix this

    My elite controller will not turn on even though there are fully charged rechargeable batteries

    My old batteries also stopped working after sometime ago, they didn't exactly stopped, but their voltage were reduced with time, and they weren't capable of keeping the controller on.

    controllers aint what they used to be.

    My original controller kept switching itself off randomly, tried hanging batteries (duracell) made no difference.

    I've got a black one which is 12 months old and still going fine.

    I got a silver new style controller with the twisting d-pad, the left stick got lazy and the a button stopped working after 2 months.

    I've now got a Gears Of War 3 controller

    Does the mic work on other controllers? Are the batteries fully charged? If you are using a wireless pad, low batteries will cause the Mic to stop working.

    Restarting the Xbox fixes the problem temporarily, but, as always, once I stop hearing other people's voices, the only way to get them back is to restart my console. Switching controllers, headsets, battery packs, and batteries does not fix the problem.
