Controller still disconnects randomly

I was hopeful that the last update would fix the problem, I am still getting disconnects.

It happens no matter what (various games, or watching a preview etc..) and doesnt have to be a controller under stress as I can set it down on the couch with full line of sight to the console and kinect with new batteries and it will still disconnect randomly
and flash until it reconnects.

I have tried talking this through with the online tech support but am getting nowhere and its the second console that this has been happening on.

The second one came back and worked great, then there was an xbox update and the controller started disconnecting after that.

Oh and it happens to both my day one controller and my additional one with the same tests tried out on both! so seems to be the console to me.

I have tried everything, there are no objects between me and the console/kinect, the distance from where I sit to the console is well within the 30ft distance (probably about 10ft) and it doesnt make sense to me why this issue would occur when my 360 worked
perfectly at the same distance in the exact same place, I have reset the console, reconnected both controllers etc.. but the disconnects just occur with no clear reason why or any pattern to it.

I read that bit about the 'wireless router' may be cutting it out but that seems highly unlikely and the only way to resolve this would be to throw it out and just use a wired router - relocating my living room or the broadband lines in my house seems to
be a bit much to ask.

I would like to fix this without having to send the console away again (the courier left my replacement outside hidden under leaves... not very secure) so any help would be appreciated.

Random controller disconnects

Still my controllers randomly disconnects mid-game and then immediately reconnects. Game breaking for online gaming. I have bought a new controller for this issue! Everything is updated, batteries are full (normal and rechargeable) and it still randomly
disconnect

 

Problem with controller

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are

mine started disconnecting i updated it again and it stopped weird one

 

BoA, thanks for that but I have already looked at that and as stated have tried all the solutions stated online.

MessiahBrowny, thanks! I tried that last night figuring it may work but sadly it still seems to disconnect! I have no idea what else to try other than sending the console away for 'repair'.

 

Any chance there is any word on a fix on this? or am I now in that special place where no one is sure of how to fix it so my only options are to get a refund or send it away for 'repairs' and risk losing it if the courier decides to be smart and leave it
outside the house somewhere.
